Named to highlight the uncontrolled ivory poaching that affects many parts of Africa, Elephant Gin is distilled using some rather intriguing botanicals, including Baobab, Devil's Claw and African Wormwood. Despite its African influence, Elephant Gin is actually made in Germany, and aside from being rather delicious it also contributes to Elephant Protection with 15% of its profits going directly to conservation charities.

Can a drink change the world? Probably not, but it can do its bit to help. That, at least, is our philosophy. We think elephants are amazing and should be protected. Which is why we give 15% of all proceeds to foundations fighting the illegal ivory trade. 

As you may have guessed, our other big passion is gin. We searched the African continent for botanicals that haven't been used in gin-making before; Devil's Claw, Lion's Tail and Buchu are just part of this rare mix. Using artisan methods, we then combine these with other hand-selected botanicals like fresh apples, ginger and pimento berries, and add locally-sourced spring water to produce the gin. 

The result? And award-winning London Dry Gin with a distinct nose and strikingly smooth taste. The first step to changing the world is having the right spirit!



  1. Fill half a mixing jug with ice.
  2. Add 75 ml of Elephant Gin.
  3. Add 25 ml of Belsazar Dry Vermouth.
  4. Stir for around 30 seconds. 
  5. Strain into a chilled martini glass. 
  6. Garnish with an orange twist.
